Accessibility
Version 2026-10-07. This page describes what the product does today. It is not a substitute for a lawyer reviewing it before launch.
Target
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. WCAG 2.2 AA is the preferred bar where it asks for more, including a 24 pixel target size. This has not had a manual screen-reader pass. That pass is still required before launch.
What is in the build
- The page language is English.
- A skip link is the first focusable control.
- Focus is visible, from a global style rather than per component.
- Reduced motion is honoured globally.
- Form fields on account screens have labels.
- Icon-only marks in the marketing pages are hidden from assistive tech where they repeat the heading.
Known gaps
- No screen-reader walkthrough of signup, the parent PIN, or play.
- The Kids, Youth and Adults marketing routes are linked and not built yet, so those links 404.
- There is no video, so there are no captions to publish. Add captions before any spoken video ships.
- Gold is an accent colour. It is not used for small text, because it fails contrast on the cream background.
