رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”Surah Ta-Ha, 20:114 — and the word we took our name from, زِدْنِي, zidni, “increase me”.

Your guides

Meet Zayd and Fatima

Named after Zayd ibn Thabit, the young companion who compiled the Qur'an, and Fatima al-Fihri, who founded the world's first university. Two curious kids learning their deen, one story at a time.

They tell the stories and react to them. A prophet is never drawn, never given a face, and never given a voice.

Three stages

Not one product with an age filter on it

A seven-year-old and a twenty-seven-year-old do not want the same screen. Each stage has its own content, its own tone and its own interface — and a profile only ever sees its own stage.

Kids · 4–10

Play their way into the deen

Zayd and Fatima ask short questions about wudu, the five pillars, the Arabic letters and the prophets' stories. Activities are written so they can be read aloud, including for a child who is not reading yet.

  • Tap-and-match games, no reading required
  • Read-aloud planned on every activity
  • Sessions sized for a short attention span

Youth · 11–17

Answers that respect the question

Teenagers ask harder questions and deserve better than a slogan. Youth covers aqidah, the seerah in depth, and the awkward real-world questions — with a private journal only they can read.

  • Courses with genuine depth, not kid content resized
  • A private reflection journal, closed even to parents
  • Streaks and badges that reward returning, not grinding

Adults · 18+

A calmer surface for a busy life

No confetti, no mascot. Structured courses in fiqh, tafsir and Arabic, built for someone reading fifteen minutes after 'isha — with a reading mode that keeps your place.

  • Course tracks with certificates
  • Reading and reflection, not gamified chrome
  • Works alongside your family's child profiles

Safety

Safe by construction, not by policy

Most children's apps promise safety in a settings page. We removed the capability instead. The features that put children at risk are not switched off — they were never built, and the schema has nowhere to put them.

  • No messaging, ever

There is no chat, no comments, no sharing and no public profile — not disabled, not moderated. The database has no table for them.

  • Almost no data on your child

A child profile holds a first name, an avatar and an age band. No email, no login, no birthday, no photo, no behavioural advertising profile.

  • No account while we test

You can open the games without signing up. Scores stay on the screen. Accounts, and the parent PIN around them, come later.

  • No route to the open web

Learner screens cannot link off-site or embed third-party content. That rule is enforced by the build, so it cannot be quietly undone later.

How it works

Gamified enough to come back, honest enough to trust

Reviewed before it is published

A lesson is not published until it carries the name of the person who checked it and the date they signed it off. Packs still waiting for that sign-off are held back.

Streaks worth keeping

A streak counts days a learner showed up, measured in your own timezone. Miss a day and you lose the streak, not your progress.

XP the page cannot edit

Points are kept as a ledger. The browser is not allowed to write to it, so opening the developer console does not mint XP.

Read-aloud as a setting

Each profile can have read-aloud on by default. Audio is attached to a lesson when that lesson is published, not before.

Try it

Pick an age and play

Accounts are switched off while we test. Choose kids, youth or adults, then play the question games. Scores stay on the screen and are not stored.

The questions are drafts. A scholar has not signed them off, so tell us when something sounds wrong.
